Alchemy Models understands that your business is not always about product design. Therefore, we offer a consulting service to assist you in creating a design, or refining your design idea, and then creating cost effective prototypes that you can use before you have to go to production.

Why prototype? With production startup costs so high, prototyping has become the inexpensive insurance policy that will allow you to determine the best design for a product.

For example, in working with an electronics company, we were able to provide four designs for a device that they were developing. Their business is electronics, not industrial design. Given a set of parameters, that included a maximum size, internal package size and necessary features, we delivered four sets of five prototypes in less than a week.

These prototypes will be used in high level meetings, and with customer prospects to determine the most appealing shape for their product. Once chosen, they will go to production, comfortable in the knowledge that they have a winning design.
