John was also a participant in the Roadmap for Additive Manufacturing Workshop held on March 30 and 31 at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in Arlington, VA. The workshop was held by 65 established leaders in this field from industry, academia and government. The result of this workshop was a roadmap for the next five to ten years outlining specific areas of research and development for additive manufacturing.
